As a Registered Nurse on the Interdisciplinary Palliative Unit (IPU), you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care, focusing on symptom management, pain control, and emotional support.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Pain Management: Develop and implement individualized pain management plans to ensure optimal comfort and quality of life.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, and certified nursing assistants, to coordinate care and address patient needs.
  • Education: Provide education and support to patients and their families on end-of-life care, pain management, and other relevant topics.
Requirements
  • ADN or BSN degree
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nursing License
  • One-year nursing experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Intermediate electronic health records skills
