Job SummaryThe Production Associate, Fill role is an Hourly Non-Exempt position that contributes to our mission by inspecting, printing, filling, and sealing flexible containers holding IV therapies, premixed drugs, renal therapies, and other sterile solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities- Fills, assembles, and plugs flexible containers with solutions or premixed drugs at a rate consistent with production needs.
- Prints labeling and bar code information on the flexible containers using a computerized printer.
- Maintains the printer by replacing printer foil, ribbon, and making minor adjustments.
- Synchronizes the filling stations with printed bags and supplies necessary to assemble the flexible container.
- Ensures that printed bags and their components meet quality standards through thorough inspections.
- Performs and documents scheduled cleaning activities to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Evaluates and addresses safety, quality, mechanical, or discrepancy issues promptly, escalating concerns to supervisors if necessary.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; one year of manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Candidates must possess a Career Readiness Certification (CRC) at the Silver level, if applicable.
- Possess or be able to obtain Inspector Certification.
- Basic English written and oral communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with team members.
- Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions, including words and drawings.
- Ability to perform basic mathematics and meet physical demands, including lifting up to 40 pounds and repetitive processes.
- Competitive hourly rate: $18.40 per hour.
