We are seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our NorCal Civil Engineering team in Sacramento. This role offers recent graduates and early-career professionals a chance to advance their civil engineering careers while working on diverse infrastructure projects.

Estimated Salary Range

The base salary for this position ranges from $64,000 to $80,000, depending on experience, education, and skills. Performance-based bonuses are also available to recognize outstanding contributions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist senior engineers in project design and development, including site plans, grading, drainage, and utility designs.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3D; support technical reports and construction documents.
  • Conduct site visits and field investigations to collect data, monitor project progress, and ensure compliance with design standards and safety protocols.
  • Support project coordination and scheduling by maintaining project schedules and documentation, and assisting with permits and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to participate in project meetings, work with contractors and vendors, and contribute to sustainable design and environmental compliance efforts.
  • Engage in research to support innovative engineering solutions and uphold best practices in civil engineering.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or a clear path to obtain within six months.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of civil engineering principles and design practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
