Anesthesia Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Methodist Health System. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our anesthesia department.
Key Responsibilities- Supply Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked anesthesia supply inventory, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate the maintenance, repair, and replacement of anesthesia equipment, ensuring that all devices are functioning properly and safely.
- Collaboration: Work closely with surgical team members to ensure efficient and safe patient care, communicating effectively to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance patient care and safety.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrates ability to follow written and oral instructions, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality with patient information.
- Teamwork: Maintains good relations with physicians, nurses, patients, visitors, and all other hospital employees, promoting a collaborative environment.
- Professional Development: Takes initiative for professional growth, seeking opportunities to improve patient care and safety, and staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
