Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant in an educational setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs, goals, and progress.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly track student progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and communicate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure seamless integration of communication goals into daily classroom activities.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement strategies to support students' communication needs, and participate in IEP meetings to set goals and discuss student progress.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in a school-based setting, with a strong background in assessment, treatment planning, and therapy services.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
