Job Title: Aerial Lineman Opportunities

We are seeking skilled Linemen to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in powering up opportunities across the US.

Job Summary:

As an Aerial Lineman, you will be responsible for installing and repairing aerial telecommunications cable, safely using hand tools and equipment, and operating mechanized equipment such as bucket trucks and digger derricks.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair aerial telecommunications cable
  • Safely use hand tools and equipment, such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more
  • Safely operate mechanized equipment, such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators, and more
  • Set up safety perimeter using signage, cones, safety barriers
  • Flag traffic when required
  • Understand separation and clearance regulations
  • Safely work aloft using climbing hooks and ladders
  • Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies
Qualifications:
  • At least 18 years old
  • Authorized to work in the United States for this company
  • Able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
  • Has a valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • Has previous construction experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry
  • Has knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques
  • Able to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck and work aloft and climb poles up to 40 feet
  • Able to perform all duties in telecommunications construction, such as pole transfers, maintenance builds, new build, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction
  • Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance
  • Able to work over-time; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or on-call
  • Able to maintain a safe work environment
  • Able to work in all weather conditions
  • Able to travel when travel is required
  • Has experience splicing of active & passive equipment
