Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Expert Level Systems Architect to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in leading and overseeing the integrity of our Future State Enterprise Architecture.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Systems Integration Activities: Assist with leading and performing systems integration activities across the NSG, ASG, and Federal Agencies to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT.
  • Oversee Total Systems Perspective: Assist with leading and overseeing a total systems perspective, including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements of cloud services, infrastructure, and security domains.
  • Provide Enterprise Architecture Process: Provide agile, standardized, and repeatable enterprise architecture process enabling actionable and authoritative artifacts for cross-agency planning and decision-making.
  • Interpret Strategic Priorities: Interpret and contextualize strategic priorities for operational needs, supporting mission and IT execution by aligning strategic objectives with tactical implementation across budgetary programs/projects.
  • Develop Future State Enterprise Architecture: Lead the development of the Future State Enterprise Architecture or re-architecting aspects of existing ones.
  • Facilitate IT Strategic Planning: Facilitate IT strategic planning for the future, transforming the agency while making it more efficient. Develop artifacts such as time-based enterprise architecture roadmaps and value streams.
  • Perform Cross-Agency Analysis: Perform/facilitate cross-agency analysis and identification of supplicative capabilities and associated investments, gaps, and transformation opportunities. Map strategy to projects and budget, identify gaps between investment and execution, as well as dependencies and risks between programs/projects.
  • Establish Key Performance Metrics: Establish key performance metrics and best practices for organizational deliverables.
  • Manage Enterprise Architecture Practice: Assist with managing enterprise architecture practice and its governance.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Related Field: Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
  • 18 Years of Relevant Experience: 18 years of relevant experience is required and may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Cloud-Based Technology Experience: Experience integrating solutions using Cloud-Based Technology such as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), On-demand self-service, Broad network access, Resource pooling, Rapid elasticity, Measured Service, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
  • TS/SCI Clearance: Must demonstrate hands-on experience in architecting and building large-scale, service-oriented software products. TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.
Desired Qualifications
  • Working Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering: Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.
  • Big Data Integration Experience: Experience integrating solutions using structured and unstructured Big Data.
  • Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence Experience: Experience integrating solutions using Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinking with the ability to link organizational strategy with execution.
  • Business Capability Models: Knowledge of business capability models, value streams, and enterprise architecture components.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and experience in business transformation.
  • Business Architecture Frameworks: Proficiency in developing and maintaining business architecture frameworks.
