About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Assistant to join our team at Toledo Family Dental Care. As a key member of our front office, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our dental team.

Responsibilities
  • Front Office Operations: Manage front office duties, including answering phones, checking office mail and email, and communicating with patients and insurance companies.
  • Patient Scheduling: Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and records, and schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers in the office.
  • Insurance and Billing: File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verification of benefits, and explanation of coverage.
  • Accounts Receivable: Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivables.
  • Treatment Plan Fees: Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.

About Us

Toledo Family Dental Care is a unique and dynamic dental practice that thrives on collaboration, communication, and community. We are a 14-person team that values teamwork and patient care.

We offer a rotating schedule with Mondays (7:45a - 5:15p) and Fridays (6:45a - 3:15p), Tuesday and Thursday (6:45a - 4:15p), and Wednesday (9:45a - 7:15p). We are willing to train the right person for the role.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
  • HIPAA Training: Regular HIPAA training will be required, and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.
