About the Role

H2 Performance Consulting, a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions, is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. As a Navy Qualified Validator (NQV), you will play a critical role in ensuring the compliance of our clients' systems with the Department of Navy's Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quality assurance reviews for RMF Steps 2, 4, and 5, aligning with the Navy RPG and SCA RAG. You will have experience with Navy Cloud authorizations, including DoD Cloud Computing SRG, Cloud Service Models, Impact Levels, DISA Provisional Authorizations, FedRamp, and Inheritance.

You will work closely with the Information System Security Engineers (ISSE) to execute vulnerability testing (ACAS, STIGS, etc.) and recommend remediations and/or mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will review control assessments to assess the current state, ensure enough evidence is provided to support control compliance, and provide technical expertise for cloud technologies, guiding the team on specific cloud requirements.

Utilizing Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) for authorization reviews, you will demonstrate your expertise in ensuring seamless security authorization processes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years applied Department of Navy cybersecurity, Assessment and Authorization (A&A) experience
  • Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) II certification in good standing
