Job Title: Health and Wellness Intern
Job Summary:
The Wabanaki Public Health and Wellness organization is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Health and Wellness Intern. This is a part-time, paid, 12-month internship opportunity that will require some in-person attendance throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of health and wellness programs for American Indian and Alaskan Native communities.
- Collaborate with staff members to achieve program goals and objectives.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the creation of educational materials and resources for community members.
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be enrolled in a University Undergraduate or Graduate program.
- Familiarity with health and social issues facing American Indians and Alaska Natives.
- Must pass criminal background check.
