Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

About the Role

This is a mobile radiologic technologist position that requires traveling to various locations, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional institutions, residential homes, and other patient environments. You will be responsible for performing portable x-ray exams, operating portable radiologic equipment, ensuring image quality, and maintaining all necessary records and documentation while adhering to safety protocols.

Your Responsibilities
  • Travel to patient locations as directed to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and protocols while performing diagnostic imaging exams
  • Collect and verify required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment at patient bedside or designated exam settings
  • Determine exposure factors based on patient height, weight, body part, and degree of penetration required
  • Ensure safe work practices, including radiation safety and ALARA principles, infection control, and proper use of personal protective equipment
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT(R)
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
