We are seeking a skilled Cafeteria Assistant Coordinator to join our team at Public Schools of Robeson County. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cafeteria.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $2,283.80 per month. We strive to offer competitive compensation packages that reflect the value we place on our employees' contributions.

Job Responsibilities

Your primary duties as a Cafeteria Assistant Coordinator will include:

  • Preparing food according to established recipes and guidelines
  • Aiding with inventory management and maintaining a clean work environment
  • Ensuring proper storage and handling of food
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety
  • Portioning food servings accurately
  • Collaborating with the manager to assess cafeteria needs and determine priorities

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in the food service industry (preferably)
  • Demonstrated ability to provide nutritious meals as part of a comprehensive educational program
  • A valid Food Handling Certificate (obtained within 90 days of employment)
  • Completion of 6 hours of Annual Professional Standards
