Job Description
">The primary responsibility of this role is to perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties, including routine preventative maintenance, basic diagnostics and repairs, and complex mechanical inspections & repairs. This position requires working unsupervised on most tasks and interacting with customers/drivers to properly determine the nature of their complaint once assigned a task.
">Requirements and Qualifications
">To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred">
- Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred">
- Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines">
- Three (3) years or more relevant work experience, preferred">
- A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred">
- All other certification as required by location, required">
Additional Requirements
">This position requires:
">- ">
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment">
- Knowledge of and the ability to apply knowledge of computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.">
- Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire">
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test">
- Pass a DOT physical">
- Pass a Ryder road test">
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years">
