Accounting Professional for Real Estate Management

Aston Carter is seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to manage daily accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting for our clients.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled professional to maintain accurate financial records, reconcile bank statements, and prepare monthly financial reports. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, as well as strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in QuickBooks.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Handle invoicing, billing, and collections for tenants and vendors.
- Monitor and manage the company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with year-end financial audits and tax preparation.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in the real estate management industry but open to other industries.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This position will be onsite in Newton, NJ, with some hybrid flexibility available. We value teamwork and collaboration, and our ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Aston Carter offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
