Advanced Manual Physical Therapist for Progressive Rehabilitation

Salary and BenefitsOur competitive salary package includes a generous compensation range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits program that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
About the JobAs an Advanced Manual Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to patients in our facility. Your expertise in manual techniques and Myofascial Release (MFR) will enable you to develop and implement effective treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient. Your goal will be to help patients achieve optimal mobility, strength, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations according to APTA standards of practice and state regulations
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluation results, collaborating with colleagues and involving patients and caregivers as necessary
- Document patient progress according to approved medical documentation procedures
- Evaluate patient mobility, strength, and functional levels, setting realistic goals to improve these areas
- Communicate patient progress to patients, caregivers, facility staff, and healthcare providers as required
- Develop plans for patients following completion of treatment plans
- Assist colleagues in maintaining a safe, clean, and effective environment
To be considered for this rewarding opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:
- MPT or DPT degree required
- Experience using manual techniques or MFR preferred
- At least 5 years of experience as a licensed PT
- Current Physical Therapy license for the state of operation
- Advanced certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy (e.g., orthopedics, neurology) a plus
- Ability to work with patients aged 8 years and up
- Ability to manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour
- Flexibility to commit to a 4-day schedule with 3 evenings (no weekends)
This role requires the ability to:
- Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Lift and move patients and equipment as necessary
- Operate therapy equipment with manual dexterity
