We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Engineer to join our team at American Honda Motor Co. This role will be responsible for providing technical expertise in mechanical systems, designing and implementing equipment solutions that meet the requirements of our business plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement E-Flow (evaluation flow) for investment projects to achieve business plan targets
  • Design and manage equipment improvement activities to enhance characteristics that empower associates to succeed
  • Ensure adherence to equipment installation standards (drawings, compliance, data) to improve MTBF (mean time between failures) and MTTR (mean time to repair)
  • Drive engineering solutions to solve complex problems and achieve department targets
  • Support the introduction of new technologies and provide associated technical training to drive continuous process improvements

$120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package that includes 401K Plan with company match, paid time off, annual bonus, and more.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience. Additionally, experience with Catia 3D Design software is preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to teach others.
