Chief Financial Officer, University of Minnesota Alumni Association

The Chief Financial Officer plays a critical role in driving the financial strategy and growth of the University of Minnesota Alumni Association. Reporting to the President and CEO, this senior-level leader oversees the financial, HR, and risk management areas of the UMAA, ensuring the organization's financial stability and success.
This is a 100%, 12-month annually renewable appointment in the academic professional personnel series.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive growth and revenue for the UMAA.
- Lead the design and execution of UMAA's financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Build and maintain effective internal controls and ensure adherence to financial policies.
- Partner with the UMAA leadership team to build a high-performing team with a strong internal culture.
- Collaborate with the University of Minnesota and other stakeholders to support the UMAA's mission and achieve goals.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Ten (10) years of experience as a professional accountant.
