Charter College, a leading career college in Anchorage, AK, is seeking experienced HVAC professionals to join our faculty as part-time instructors. As an HVAC trainer and educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning technicians.

About the Role

This part-time position offers the flexibility to work evenings, 5 hours shifts, 2 times a week for 5 weeks at a time. You will be responsible for teaching our popular HVAC program, preparing and delivering engaging lectures, laboratory sessions, and clinical instruction.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, ensuring alignment with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Maintain accurate student records, track attendance, and provide timely feedback on assignments and final grades.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, assess student progress, and improve instructional methods.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on industry advancements.
  • Engage with students, providing support and guidance throughout their academic journey.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of field experience in HVAC.
  • HVAC certification (preferred).
  • Experience in teaching or training (desired).
