About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist III or Licensed Specialist to join our dynamic team at Sea Mar Community Health Centers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a rapidly expanding program, providing top-notch behavioral health services to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management in coordination with other teams or parties involved in treatment.
  • Provide individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment plans.
  • Lead groups and collaborate with Program Manager on program development, policy and procedure development, compliance with WACs and RCWs, and other administrative tasks as directed.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work which includes coursework in psychological diagnostics.
  • Four or more years of experience in the field, meeting criteria for a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
  • An active Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License (pending within 60 days if applied for within 7 days of employment) or mental health Associate License (includes Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, and Clinical Social Worker).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
