Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Health Care Supervisor to join our team at the Caswell Developmental Center. As a Health Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direct supervision to our Developmental Technician staff, ensuring the safety, care, programming, and other services to all individuals within the assigned home/living unit.

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular meetings to educate, train, and communicate with staff.
- Evaluate and counsel staff on performance, including disciplinary action if necessary.
- Schedule coverage for assigned shifts, ensuring adequate staffing.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping records for assigned unit health care staff.
- Monitor and approve requests for unit supplies, personal items, and money.
- Implement training programs and services relative to daily living.
- Investigate injuries/accidents immediately and take appropriate action.
- Promote safe work habits and practices through training and facility procedures.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
- Knowledge of duties and responsibilities of health care staff.
- Ability to make observations, assess clients and staff strengths and needs, and report on these.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact positively with various disciplines.
- Good general health, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Salary Information
The estimated salary range for this position is $33,272.00 - $49,908.00 annually, based on location and job requirements.
