Family Visitation Specialist

At Axess Family Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Family Visitation Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing safe and supportive environments for supervised visitations between parents and children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist families in experiencing safe and comfortable visitation environments
  • Document observations during visits and maintain accurate records
  • Schedule and reschedule visits as needed, ensuring timely communication with all parties involved
  • Maintain ongoing contact with families and effectively communicate with staff members
  • Enforce program policies and procedures while upholding confidentiality
  • Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with diverse populations
  • Understanding of child development principles and recognition of child abuse indicators
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Two years of experience working with children or related field
