The Aviation Institute of Maintenance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Maintenance Instructor to join our team. As an instructor, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on instruction and ensuring students gain the skills and knowledge needed for successful careers in aviation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach classes on a regularly scheduled basis and create a welcoming environment for students.
- Develop and maintain curriculum, prepare course materials, and assist with class scheduling.
- Maintain a neat and orderly classroom and lab.
- Establish and maintain academic and attendance records for student files.
- Submit attendance, grades, and student evaluations as required.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required.
- Minimum three years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
