Opportunity Overview

We are seeking an experienced LVN to join our team at Janus of Santa Cruz, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing supportive and hope-inspiring substance use disorder treatment services.

About the Job

This role involves providing direct nursing care, conducting assessments, and offering emotional support to clients undergoing detoxification. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and facilitate group therapy sessions.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide comfortable and compassionate care for clients as the first point of contact in our inpatient facility.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  3. Educate clients and their families on healthcare topics, such as disease prevention and management.
  4. Play an essential role in the recovery process of clients undergoing detoxification from substances.
Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $40-$45 per hour, determined within a range based on your job-related skills, training, qualifications, experience, and relevant education. Our total compensation package includes:

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a valid LVN license and possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Experience in a clinical setting, knowledge of chemical dependency, and BLS certification are preferred. A working knowledge of applicable portions of Title 9 and Title 22 is also desirable.
