Consult Liaison Psychiatrist Opportunity in Atlanta, GA

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consult Liaison Psychiatrist to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide expert psychiatric care to adult patients in need of consultation services.

Job Summary:

This is a PRN opportunity with a local hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. We require a board-certified psychiatrist with experience in inpatient settings, capable of working independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working with electronic medical records (EMR).

About the Role:

  • Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adult patients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct regular chart reviews and updates as needed

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Psychiatry
  • Experience in inpatient psychiatry within the last 12 months
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an EMR environment
