About the Role

Total Flight Solutions is a premier flight training and commercial aerial services provider in North Carolina. We are seeking an experienced Aviation Technician to join our team at Triangle North Executive Airport in Louisburg.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on various aircraft types, including Cessna 172s and Robinson R22/R44 helicopters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general aviation and possess excellent technical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Aircraft servicing (fuel, oil, cockpits)
  • Scheduled maintenance (50 and 100 hr. inspections)
  • Oil and filter changes
  • Tire changes, brake servicing
  • Avionics troubleshooting
Requirements
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification
  • General Aviation experience
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and available to work 40 hours a week
  • Knowledge and skill using online maintenance manuals and looking up parts components
  • Ability to prioritize, work independently, and proceed in an efficient and professional manner
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule and holidays if required
  • Independently make critical decisions regarding aircraft safety
  • Meet all FAA and Safety Requirements
  • Experience with Cessna 172s and Robinson R22/R44 helicopters preferred
Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive hourly pay, ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
