Job Title: Behavioral Health Specialist CR Team

Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our Clinical Resource Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care and management of children and adolescents, working under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed psychiatric professional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and management of children and adolescents
  • Lead, monitor, and collaborate educational and therapeutic groups for patients
  • Participate in clinical rounds and maintain communication with unit or department leadership
  • Respond to behavioral assistance requests and provide support to patients, family members, or visitors
  • Ensure proper documentation of patient progress and complete 15-minute patient checks
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minor in psychology or related field
  • Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress appropriately
