Job Overview

In the Northwest Technical Region, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Field Specialist to join our team. This role will involve providing technical support and training to customers in the field, ensuring they have the necessary expertise to operate our diagnostic products effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site customer training and assistance in implementing QuidelOrtho products, ensuring seamless adoption and integration into laboratory settings.
  • Work closely with sales, customer service, and technical service teams to ensure alignment and effective communication with customers.
  • Collaborate with product management and quality assurance to stay up-to-date on new products, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, training sessions, and product implementations.
  • Travel extensively within the Northwest Technical Region, including overnight stays, to visit customers and provide technical support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, medical technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, preferably in the medical device/diagnostic market.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work autonomously, think critically, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze data and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
  • Valid US driver's license and ability to maintain a safe driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in chemistry, transfusion medicine, microbiology, virology, or immunology laboratories.
  • LIS experience preferred.
  • Certified as a medical technologist, microbiologist, or specialist.
Salary and Benefits
