Job Overview

As a Janitorial Supervisor, you will oversee the janitorial staff on site, ensuring the safety of employees and meeting or exceeding customer quality expectations. You will also participate in daily cleaning tasks as required.

Working Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 4:00PM - 12:00AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train the janitorial staff in the building.
  • Assign tasks and areas of responsibility to team members.
  • Manage employee relations and performance issues, documenting and reporting to management or HR as needed.
  • Review employee timekeeping to ensure compliance with company policies and complete payroll documents accurately.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify quality concerns or project work needed, submitting inspection reports.
  • Communicate special project work needs to management.
  • Operate floor cleaning equipment as required (e.g., buffer, walk behind, spot-carpet cleaner).
  • Maintain cleaning supplies inventory.
  • Respond promptly to customer concerns or complaints.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures, reporting and investigating accidents.
  • Complete required training courses.
  • Clean restrooms, break-rooms, common areas, dust, and remove trash.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum.
  • Perform advanced floor care work as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of janitorial supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and show judgment.
  • High integrity required.
