Clinical Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Liaison to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital - Savannah. As a Clinical Liaison, you will serve as an advocate for patients during the pre-admission process, working closely with clinical teams and healthcare professionals to evaluate patients' medical needs and develop results-producing relationships throughout the medical facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform clinical assessments of referred patients and counsel with patients' families to assist them in making informed care decisions.
- Partner with hospital case managers to create smooth patient transfer processes and remove payer-related and operational barriers to getting patients into the optimal level of care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, discharge planners, and patients' families to plan the best continuum of care.
- Work with a strong clinical background, payer knowledge, and problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles that prevent patients from being admitted into the optimal level of care.
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) License.
- Other Educational and Clinical designation with approval of Vice President, Business & Market Development or designee.
- Preferred qualifications: prior sales or business development experience, flexibility, self-driven, accountable for results, autonomous, and supportive of team efforts.
