Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center. As a Critical Care Specialist, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring life-sustaining therapies and interventions.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive evidence-based care and meet their individualized needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Indiana.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent experience.
