About This RoleThis Licensed Psychiatric Technician position offers an excellent opportunity to join our team in residential group homes. Your primary function will be to provide general nursing procedures, behavior management, direct care, and training as needed.
You will perform authorized nursing procedures, participate in the interdisciplinary team, and contribute to individual support plans. As a lead staff member, you may oversee Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Responsibilities include providing active programming, adhering to standards and schedules established by your supervisor, and ensuring any suspicion of abuse is reported according to law and program policies.
Requirements- A valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving history
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid, active license from the State of California to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician
- A minimum of one year experience in the Human Services field
