Job Summary

The Showroom Associate is responsible for driving retail sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. In addition, Associates are responsible for stocking the showroom shelves, ensuring showroom is clean, conducting inventory, and interacting with local law enforcement, fire departments, and EMS professionals to assist them in product selection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent sales service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by greeting customers, assessing customers' needs, answering questions, offering assistance, suggesting items, lending opinions, and providing product information.
  • Process POS (point of sale) purchases, orders, and returns.
  • Follow and achieve store's sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered.
  • Assist with keeping the showroom stocked, organized, and arranged/displayed properly.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures.
  • Elevate complaints/issue to management.
  • Adhere to all WPSG Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate or similar role, including hands-on experience with POS transactions.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Good Math skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory procedures.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner.
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
