Capital Equipment Sales Specialist for Healthcare Networks

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Capital Equipment Sales Specialist to join our successful diagnostic sales team in the East Region. This role will focus on selling immunohematology instruments and reagents to hospitals and healthcare networks in Florida.
Job OverviewThe Capital Equipment Sales Specialist will be responsible for building strategic customer relationships, identifying account priorities, and developing business strategies to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a hunter mentality, strong written and oral communication skills, and experience working in a commission-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities- Build long-term relationships with target customer management teams and develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Identify account priorities and develop business strategies to meet customer needs.
- Demonstrate a broad understanding of customer needs, market trends, industry challenges, and relevant products and technologies.
- Broaden the portfolio, services, solutions, and expertise to accounts.
- Secure necessary resources to communicate, deliver, and reinforce value propositions to customers.
- Develop detailed account forecasts and operating calendars to guide weekly activities.
- Maximize revenue goals and account profitability.
- Identify new opportunities for future sales and monitor aging reports to ensure timely payments.
- 5+ years of documented success selling capital equipment in acute care hospital settings and IDNs.
- Hunter mentality, strong written and oral communication skills, and experience working in a commission-oriented environment.
- Laboratory/diagnostics experience preferred.
