Job Description

Syms Strategic Group, LLC (SSG) is seeking a talented Software Developer in Test to join their team in support of a large Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) nationwide program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement test automation strategies
  • Develop and execute automated tests
  • Integrate with CI/CD tools and pipeline
  • Triage and troubleshoot defects
  • Document QA procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
  • 8+ years of automated software development and testing experience
  • Experience with Java, C#, or Python
  • Knowledge of IT products, operating systems, software, hardware, systems, and networks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with EDI and financial transaction systems
  • Experience testing MUMPS, VistA, and other VA systems

Security Clearance Requirements:

Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.

Citizenship Requirement:

U.S. citizenship is required for this opportunity.
