Job Description

Classical Charter Schools of America is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education to students with exceptional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
  • Provide direct special education instruction to identified students
  • Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate with parents and other stakeholders to ensure student progress and success

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in education with a valid teaching certificate from North Carolina or a partnering state
  • Experience teaching a large elementary class of diverse learners
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
