Early Childhood Ministry Assistant

The Grove Community Church is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Early Childhood Ministry team as a Ministry Assistant. This role will provide hands-on guidance and leadership to weekend and midweek programs and services, working closely with volunteers to shepherd them and tend to their spiritual care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the creation of midweek and weekend curriculum for children from newborn to Kindergarten-age.
- Teach various age levels for midweek and weekend services in small and large group settings, creating engaging and interactive experiences for children.
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for weekend and midweek programs, ensuring a high level of quality and consistency.
- Develop and maintain age-appropriate environments for children to experience God's love and teachings.
- Execute midweek and weekend program activities, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Prepare classrooms and materials for volunteers, ensuring a seamless experience for children and families.
- Cultivate a deepening relationship with God through personal and corporate spiritual disciplines, modeling a Christ-like character.
- Participate in planning and executing special events, such as Summer Splash, to engage children and families in meaningful experiences.
- Build relationships with volunteers and families to encourage spiritual growth and development.
- Attend Early Childhood leadership team meetings, church all-staff meetings, devotions, and trainings to stay informed and aligned with the church's vision and mission.
- Alignment with The Grove's Statement of Faith and Foundational Beliefs.
- Passion for working with children and families, with a commitment to spiritual growth and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with volunteers and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
