We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team at Sonnenberg Consultants, LLC. As a Behavioral Therapist in our school setting, you will have the opportunity to work with children and young adults, making a positive impact on their lives.

Caseload Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write, implement, update and train on effective behavior plans, including data collection systems using Functional Behavior Assessments.
  • Complete and submit ongoing documentation as needed by the funding source in a timely manner.
  • Participate in group staff trainings as requested.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with teachers, administrators, staff, clients, and parents.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sonnenberg School Executive Director, Regional Clinical Director, and other team members to assess clinical need in the school setting.
  • Participate in HR duties such as verbal and written corrective feedback, staff evaluations, disciplinary actions, etc. in collaboration with the People and Culture Manager.
  • Assess, document, and maintain information regarding BTTh and BTT staff performance and evaluations.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor BTT and BTTh positions by demonstrating a comprehensive approach to staff management and improving performance outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst licensed in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Active driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to pass a caregiver's background check.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a team player, willing to collaborate and work with a variety of individuals with all types of backgrounds.
