Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in Eggplant functional testing to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Eggplant testing tools.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand the requirements and functionality of the application.
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test processes, ensuring alignment with software development processes.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to report to the development team.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate automation scripts with the CI/CD pipeline.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
- Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders to ensure software functionality and quality.
- Keep up to date with the latest testing tools, strategies, and trends, specifically those related to Eggplant testing.
- Configure and maintain test environments, including necessary data setup and hardware.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure that automation code standards and best practices are being followed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Eggplant Functional and Eggplant Manager tools.
- Strong scripting skills and experience with SenseTalk, or similar scripting languages.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development process.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
