Residential Area Construction Manager

Job Summary
Duda & Sons, Inc. is seeking an experienced Residential Area Construction Manager to lead our team in overseeing construction operations within specific subdivisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the hiring, training, and management of construction department staff.
- Approve trade contractor selection and maintain strong relationships with contractors.
- Ensure detailed knowledge of construction practices, materials, and processes across all trade contractors.
- Develop and maintain standard construction methods, operational procedures, and cost control measures in collaboration with superintendents and team members.
- Implement and manage a robust safety program that meets OSHA standards, ensuring the safety of employees, contractors, and others on-site.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, materials, and regulations through reading, networking, and engagement with NAHB and state/local associations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, zoning ordinances, and legal regulations.
- Conduct quality control inspections on homes prior to closings.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction and supervision of staff.
- Bachelor's Degree and Contractor's License preferred.
- Strong personnel management, team-building, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry trends.
