Job Summary

This role involves delivering raw materials to customers, ensuring accurate orders, and maintaining a positive work environment. The ideal candidate should have experience driving trucks, possess basic math skills, and be able to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver materials to job sites, inspecting and maintaining the truck, reporting shortages and claims to supervisors, and assisting in loading and storing of materials.
  • Operate safely, participate in a positive work environment, and check orders for accuracy.
  • Organize and secure loads, obtain approval from supervisors, and assist in maintaining good housekeeping in the yard and warehouse.
  • Deliver and unload materials to customer satisfaction, follow guidelines from supervisors, complete daily equipment inspections, and record merchandise returned by trucks.
Requirements
  • Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum experience: 2 years driving trucks, preferably with lumber dumping experience
  • Basic math skills, ability to read orders, write instructions, and complete forms
  • Effective communication skills, conflict resolution, and knowledge of safe lifting techniques
  • Maintain current operator's license and meet company driver qualification requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs repeatedly, work in various climates, and maintain physical stamina
Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience
