Job Description

The Healthcare Claims Specialist will be responsible for processing medical, dental, and vision claims for multiple groups. This includes communicating with plan sponsors, employees, and providers regarding claims and coverage procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • TWO YEARS OF EXPERIENCE PROCESSING CLAIMS FOR BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION
  • Excellent analytical abilities and critical thinking capabilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software

The successful candidate will also have basic knowledge of relevant laws and regulations applicable to benefit plans, such as COBRA, HIPAA, and the Affordable Care Act.

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment, requiring the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Salary Information

Based on industry standards and the level of experience required for this role, we estimate the salary for this position to be between $55,000 and $65,000 per year.
