Safety Specialist Job Summary

Lee Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety programs and policies in line with OSHA, ANSI, and other applicable standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on construction sites to identify potential hazards.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address identified hazards.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for all employees.
  • Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, or near misses.
  • Stay up to date with safety regulations and ensure the company's compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members to integrate safety practices into daily operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in safety management, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, safety management systems, and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to navigate construction sites and work in a fast-paced environment.
