Diesel Mechanic Specialist

About the Job
The Diesel Mechanic Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining fleet road equipment, ensuring compliance with trucking regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace, and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance within company standards.
- Complete documentation of all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability.
- Handle road service calls and perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines.
- Maintain inventory and proper recordkeeping.
- Backup to other maintenance shop personnel.
Requirements
- 3 years of commercial Diesel mechanic or reefer experience.
- OR 2 years of Diesel Mechanic exp with TK or Refrigeration certification.
- Prior experience in administering appropriate PM programs.
- Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with drivers.
Benefits
- $26.00 per hour salary.

- Schedule: Sunday - Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
Physical Requirements
- JOB REQUIRES WORKER TO: SIT Occasionally, STAND Frequently, WALK Frequently, DRIVE Occasionally.
- Lift up to 120-150 pounds (2-man lift).
