About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with store associates, store management, and other district managers to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote and represent the Sherwin-Williams brand and products to customers and partners.
  • Utilize CRM systems to document sales calls and store visits, and gather and document competitor intelligence information.
  • Conduct contractor events to promote products and increase sales.
  • Ensure promotions, pricing, and signage are set appropriately in each store.
  • Prepare annual growth plans for assigned stores in the territory to meet or exceed sales and profit goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, with up to 9 Saturdays per year.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish.
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or merchandising.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • P&L/budget management experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
  • Ability to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb and descend stairs.
  • Ability to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.
Technical/Skill Requirements
  • Ability to learn to operate in-store tinting machines.
  • Ability to operate an iPhone and computer.
Travel Requirements
  • 50% or more of the time (may be less, depending on geographic region).
