Ascension Seton, a leading healthcare provider in Central Texas, is seeking an experienced Clinical Quality and Patient Safety Professional to join our team at Dell Children's Medical Center.

Job Summary

">

This is an exempt full-time opportunity. The successful candidate will serve as a clinical expert, driving quality indicators and evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes. They will assist in identifying opportunities to enhance quality and safety outcomes, support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting data, and guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice projects.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Drive nursing quality indicators and evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes.">
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance quality and safety outcomes.">
  • Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting various quality/patient safety data with a focus on using data to drive improved care outcomes and nursing practice.">
  • Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of order sets and practice guidelines at the unit or division level.">
  • Aide in the analysis of research outcomes and devise strategies for their incorporation into evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.">
  • Conduct unit rounds with a focus on coaching and mentoring in partnership with clinical leadership.">

Requirements

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.">
  • Two years experience in clinical, quality, evidence-based practice and patient safety work.">
