Corrections Dentist Specialist

About the Role:
CARE ONE is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Corrections Dentist to join our team. In this critical role, you will provide high-quality dental care to incarcerated individuals, focusing on both preventative and restorative services.
As a Corrections Dentist, you will perform comprehensive exams to diagnose and treat dental diseases, injuries, and malformations. You will also restore teeth and construct dentures and other dental appliances, extract teeth and roots, and place implants as needed. Additionally, you will suture facial lacerations within and around the oral cavity and prescribe medications for pain relief, infection control, and management of viral, bacterial, and fungal infections.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive exams to diagnose and treat dental diseases, injuries, and malformations.
- Restore teeth and construct dentures and other dental appliances.

- Suture facial lacerations within and around the oral cavity.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited dental school.
- Licensed Dentist in the state of Michigan.
- Skilled in patient assessment, management, and documentation.
- Relates well to diverse patient needs and situations.
- Strong interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
- Upholds integrity and confidentiality in all tasks.
- Adaptable to organizational changes.
- Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
