Overview

Fresenius Medical Care North America is an industry leader in the medical field, providing high-quality dialysis services to patients. We are currently seeking a skilled Hemodialysis Nurse to join our team as part of the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP).

Salary Information

The estimated hourly rate for this position is between $31.00 and $53.00, depending on the successful candidate's work location and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Hemodialysis Nurse with Fresenius Medical Care, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including assessing and managing patients' responses to home dialysis training and treatment therapy. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans that enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage patients' responses to home dialysis training and treatment therapy
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current RN license and CPR certification
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (preferably in nephrology nursing)
  • Experience with home dialysis therapy (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
