Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that promote reading culture and student engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum and teaching strategies.
  • Assess student progress and provide targeted support or resources as needed.
  • Organize literary events, field trips, and guest speaker opportunities to enrich student learning experiences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • New Jersey Department of Education Standard Certificate, Certificate of Eligibility (CE), or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) in English.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $63,414 - $89,264 (BA) / $64,664 - $90,514 (MA).
  • 10.5-month term of employment.
