Job Description: Infection Control Coordinator

The Infection Control Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents at our Pembroke Pines campus.

The daily housekeeping checklist must be completed and placed in the housekeeping binder, ensuring all floors are swept, vacuumed, or mopped. Furniture, pictures, baseboards, wheelchair guards, windowsills, walls, and activity rooms are regularly cleaned and dusted.

Cleaning and sanitizing equipment, supplies, air conditioning vents, fans, and sensory room items are also part of the responsibilities.

Adequate and appropriate materials and supplies must be available in all areas, such as bedrooms, kitchens, and restrooms. This includes paper towels, napkins, toilet tissue, soap, and resident needs.

The Program Manager sets directions to ensure adherence to AHCA regulations, and assisting in maintaining a safe environment for residents is a top priority.
