Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mathematics Tutor to join our team at The Piano Place LLC. As a Mathematics Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one instruction to students in grades K-12, helping them build confidence and master math concepts in a virtual learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized math tutoring sessions to students in grades K-12
  • Assess students' comprehension level and create engaging lesson plans to enhance their understanding
  • Use a remote learning platform to facilitate virtual lessons and communicate regularly with students and parents to track progress and set goals

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience tutoring math for grades K-12, especially in a remote setting
  • Access to a reliable and engaging online teaching platform
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to make learning enjoyable
  • Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet individual student needs
  • Must be a self-starter and comfortable working independently

Compensation:

  • $20/hour (contracted, 1099 position)
  • Vasa Membership
